The aims and scope of the journal
A scientific journal covering the urgent problems of the rapid development of the agro-industrial complex is published by the Lower Volga agro-university complex — a conglomerate of universities and research institutes of the Volgograd, Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia, some of which are the leading ones coordinating in the Russian Federation. A special place is occupied by the Volgograd State Agrarian University, the Federal Scientific Center for Agroecology, Integrated Land Reclamation and Protective Afforestation of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Caspian Agrarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Areas of interest for authors of materials published in the journal: agronomy, livestock and veterinary medicine, technical re-equipment of agriculture. The magazine is intended for scientists, practitioners and specialists of the agro-industrial complex, graduate students and applicants for academic degrees, as well as for a wide range of readers interested in the problems of the rapid development of the agro-industrial complex, ensuring the food security of the Russian Federation. Published in Russian and English. The magazine is distributed among agricultural universities in Russia, industry research institutes, ITAR-TASS, Central Agricultural Library, RSL, as well as by subscription. Subscription index 81054 in the all-Russian catalog of Rospechat.
The editorial staff of the journal in its activities is guided by the principles of science, objectivity and impartiality
The editorial board is guided by the provisions of Chapter 70 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation “Copyright”, adheres to international standards for the ethics of scientific publications, developed by the Committee on the Ethics of Scientific Publications (The Committee on Publication Ethics — COPE) and takes into account the experience of reputable international magazines and publishers.
The editors of the magazine do everything possible to comply with ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community and to prevent any violations of these standards, both in their own work and in their relations with all participants in the process of scientific publications.
