Rules for the direction, review and publication of scientific articles in the journal "Izvestiya nizhnevolzhsky agrouniversity complex"
The editorial board of the journal is guided by the principles of science, objectivity and impartiality in its activities.
The content of the article should correspond to one of the following branches of science and specialties:

1. Technical analysis of the manuscript is carried out by the executive secretary of the journal, according to the requirements for authors, after submitting the manuscript in electronic form (izvestiya-volgau@mail.ru ) and is transferred to the Center for Scientometric Analysis of International Indexing Systems (NAMSI) for checking the absence of illegal borrowings, determining the volume of originality of the author's text.
2. Verification of references to the sources used, determination of the degree of borrowing, the volume of originality of the author's text is carried out within three days for all collections in the system Antiplagiat.ru . The permissible volume of citations (correct legitimate borrowing) is no more than 30% of the total volume of the article (illegal borrowing is not allowed!) according to COPE.
3. The transfer for review is carried out by the deputy. the editor-in-chief after a technical analysis and verification of the originality of the author's text. The publication reviews all materials submitted to the editorial office that correspond to its subject matter in order to assess them. The article is reviewed by independent experts of the journal (at least 2) within a month from the date of receipt of the manuscript. All reviewers are qualified specialists in the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have published on the subject of the reviewed article within the last 3 years. The reviews are kept in the publishing house and in the editorial office of the publication for 5 years. If there are significant comments, the manuscript is returned to the authors with a written list of the comments that need to be eliminated. The journal uses double-blind reviewing: The reviewer and the author do not know each other's names.
4. The re-review is carried out after the submission of the version of the article, with the eliminated comments, within no more than 30 days. If the manuscript is returned three times with the reviewer's comments, the issue of its acceptance or rejection is decided at a meeting of the editorial board.
5. The decision on publication is made in accordance with the Articles of Association of the editorial board by the editor-in-chief on the basis of scientific reviews and opinions of members of the editorial board. When making a decision on publication, the editor-in-chief is guided by the reliability of the data presentation and the scientific significance of the work in question.
6. If a decision is made on publication within three days, the manuscript of the article is transferred to a professional translator for proofreading and editing the English-language part of the article, which takes two days.
7. Copies of the reviews are provided to the authors of the manuscripts and at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In case of refusal to publish an article, the editorial board sends the author a reasoned refusal. Manuscripts are not subject to return.
Requirements for the design of articles
The design of the article must comply with the Interstate and national standards of the Russian Federation in publishing.
The article is submitted to the editorial office in an electronic version (in Word Windows format), the article must have a UDC (can be determined on the website http://teacode.com/online/udc /). The number of authors is no more than four.
The article is typed in a Microsoft Word word processor with the following settings: page margins at the top, bottom – 2.4 cm; left, right – 2.8 cm. The style is ordinary. Font – Times New Roman, font size 12. The line spacing for text is single, for tables it is single, the alignment mode is width-wise, hyphenation is automatic. The paragraph indentation should be the same in the text – 1.27 cm.
Drawings, diagrams, photographs are presented in PDF, JPEC, TIFF format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi (it is not allowed to scan tables, diagrams, drawings). All drawings should be clear, the inscriptions are clearly visible.
The article contains: UDC, title of the article, initials and surname of the author(s), academic degree, title of the author(s), abstract, keywords. A sample of formatting is available on the magazine's website.
The following components should be clearly distinguished in the article: 1 Introduction, 2 Materials and methods, 3 Results, 4 Discussion, 5 Conclusions, 6 Bibliography (References)
Special attention should be paid to the completeness of the bibliographic list (at least 12-15 sources, including those reflecting foreign research). At the same time, it is necessary to avoid unfair citation (unjustified "twisting" of quotations, as well as self-citation), incorrect citation (unjustified by the content of the cited articles). The citation should be as high as possible, but justified. Insufficient or excessive citation reduces the rating of the journal.
At the end of the work, the date and signature of the author(s) are put, information about the author(s) is provided: place of work, faculty, department, (department, scientific division), academic title, ORCID, contact phone numbers, postal and e-mail address.
Authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or any other significant conflict of interest that could be interpreted as affecting the results of the evaluation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support must be disclosed.
Recommended length of the article: the main text (without title, authors, annotation, keywords and bibliographic list) – from 15 thousand characters with spaces (from 2000 words), the full text – from 30 thousand characters with spaces (from 4000 words) (10-12 pages).
Making bibliographic references
Bibliographic references to the list of references should be designed with the indication of a digital serial number in square brackets in the line of the text. In the case of a link to an exact quote, it is necessary to additionally indicate the numbers of the corresponding pages separated by commas, for example [7, p. 36].
The list of references is numbered in the order of mention in the text, it must be designed in accordance with the international standard Vancouver Style recommended by HENRI (Association of Scientific Editors and Publishers) (sample on the website).
Information about payment for open access
Articles are placed in open access (without financial restrictions on access to full texts). The cost of publishing scientific articles is determined in accordance with the current cost estimate approved by the Founder, currently amounts to 6,000 rubles.
Articles by full-time graduate students are published free of charge if the graduate student acts as the sole author and his status is confirmed by a certificate from the graduate school.
Publications in the journal of scientific articles and materials of full members of the Russian Academy of Sciences are free of charge.
The publication in the journal of scientific articles and materials of the teaching staff, applicants and students of the Volgograd State Pedagogical University without co-authors from other institutions is free of charge. In the case of a mixed team of co-authors, the publication of the article is not paid if the VolGAU employee has made the greatest or significant contribution to the research (takes 1st or 2nd place in the list of co-authors).
Articles by actively working experts of the journal, members of the editorial board and the editorial board (at least 4 reviews per issue) are published free of charge (no more than 2 articles per issue).
Articles by employees of organizations belonging to the Nizhnevolzhsky Agrouniversity complex are published with a 50% discount.
Each author can publish no more than one article with the first co-authorship.
The fee is not paid to the authors of the publications.
